At SASA Innovations Inc., we are committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional ridesharing services in Winnipeg. We understand that personal belongings can sometimes be left behind in our vehicles. This policy outlines the procedure for reporting and retrieving lost items.
1. Reporting Lost Items
If you believe you have left an item in a SASA Innovations vehicle, you must report it within 30 calendar days from the date of your trip.
To report a lost item:
- Open the SASA Innovations App
- Go to the “Support” or “Lost & Found” section
- Complete and submit the Lost Item Report Form with the following details:
- Date and time of the ride
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Description of the item
- Vehicle details or trip ID (if available)
Reports submitted after 30 days will not be accepted.
2. Processing and Retrieval
Once a report is submitted:
- Our support team will attempt to locate the item and notify you through the app.
- If found, instructions for retrieval will be provided within the app.
- Items can be picked up from a designated location, or arrangements may be made for return (subject to availability and delivery charges).
3. Unclaimed Items
- All unclaimed items will be held for a maximum of 30 days from the date of the ride.
- After 30 days, items may be discarded, donated, or handled according to local regulations.
4. Disclaimer of Liability
- SASA Innovations Inc. is not responsible for the recovery, condition, or safekeeping of lost items.
- We cannot guarantee that any lost item will be found or returned.
- Perishable items, hazardous materials, or anything that poses a safety risk may be immediately discarded.
5. Driver Guidelines
- Drivers are encouraged to:
- Check their vehicles after each trip for left-behind items.
- Report and return any found items to the SASA Lost & Found coordinator through their driver portal within 24 hours.
6. How to Begin a Lost Item Report
- Please use the SASA Innovations App and follow the prompts under Support > Lost & Found.
